[ARCHIVED] Clerk of Circuit Court recognizes Master Deputy Clerks

Master Deputy Clerks

Continuing education is valuable in public service and the Clerk’s Office encourages all deputy clerks to pursue training and continuing education opportunities.  In 2014, the Virginia Court Clerks’ Association launched a new certification program in Virginia referred to as the Circuit Court Clerk Career Development Program (CDP) which provides training opportunities for circuit court deputy clerks in Virginia.   After achieving 60 hours of classroom time, deputy clerks achieve certification of program completion and receive the title of Master Deputy Circuit Court Clerk.    I recently recognized the achievement of three dedicated deputy clerks in my office by presenting certificates of completion and bestowing the title of Master Deputy Circuit Court Clerk to Dana Taylor, Lori Taylor and Jaclyn Wilson. We conducted a small, socially-distanced in-person ceremony to honor these employees and permitted other employees to observe and witness this special ceremony virtually. Pictured are (l-r): Lori Taylor, Gary Clemens and Dana Taylor. Jaclyn Wilson participated virtually in the ceremony. Congratulations to Dana Taylor, Lori Taylor and Jaclyn Wilson on this wonderful achievement and thank you all for your service to the residents of Loudoun County!
