Loudoun to Hold Virtual Public Meeting on Route 7 Shared Use Path Oct. 27

Loudoun County is hosting an online meeting to gain input from the public on the proposed Route 7 Shared Use Path project. The public information meeting will be held Wednesday, October 27, 2021, 6:00 – 7:00 p.m. Members of the public are invited to join the virtual meeting to learn, ask questions and provide input about the project. 

Links to login information and meeting materials are available for review at loudoun.gov/rt7sharedusepath and loudoun.gov/remoteparticipation. Meeting materials include a preliminary design and speaker sign-up and comment forms. Members of the public must sign up in advance by 12:00 p.m., Tuesday, October 26, 2021, to ask questions during the event. Online participants may also send questions to the project team during the meeting as chat messages, which will be answered as time allows.

The Route 7 Shared Use Path project involves the design and construction of a 10-foot-wide shared use path along the north side of Route 7 between Campus Drive (Route 391), the entrance of Northern Virginia Community College, and Lakeland Drive (Route 821) approximately 1,500 feet west of the Fairfax County line in Sterling. The total length of the proposed shared use path is approximately 1.3 miles.
