Update: Suspect in Custody 

The suspect was located in a wooded area between Bull Run Post Office Road and Braddock Road. He initially barricaded himself in the wood line and was armed with a knife. He ultimately surrendered and was taken into custody and was in possession of a firearm. 
The LCSO received assistance from the Fairfax County Police Department, the Virginia State Police, the Prince William County Police Department, and the United States Park Police helicopter. 

The suspect was initially located by LCSO deputies today in the area of McBryde Terrace in South Riding but fled in a vehicle into Fairfax County. The deputies were attempting to serve multiple warrants on him from charges out of several neighboring jurisdictions. 
The LCSO later received information that the suspect was seen on foot in the same area he was located. 

Charges are currently pending in Loudoun County. 
Further updates will be provided as they become available. 

Original Post: The Loudoun County Sheriff’s Office is currently searching the area of Bull Run Post Office Road and Holly Spring Lane near the Fairfax County line after a wanted suspect fled from Loudoun Sheriff’s Deputies in a Black Audi with temporary tags.  

The suspect, Terry L. Settles, 48, was last seen on foot in this area and is believed to be armed. He was last seen wearing a black shirt, black pants, and red suspenders. The vehicle has not been located at this time.   

If you see the suspect you are asked to immediately contact the Loudoun County Sheriff’s Office by dialing 911. 

The suspect fled from LCSO Deputies in a vehicle after they were attempting to serve multiple warrants from neighboring jurisdictions.
