[ARCHIVED] Loudoun County Offers Adverse Childhood Experiences Training

Link to information about Adverse Childhood Experiences Training

Loudoun County is offering Adverse Childhood Experiences (ACEs) training December 14, 2021, at 6:00 p.m. The free virtual class raises awareness about the link between traumatic events in childhood and chronic health problems in adulthood, including mental illness and substance abuse. In addition to learning about ACEs, participants in the training also learn how to help prevent such experiences in their community.

Anyone age 18 and over is encouraged to take ACEs training.

The virtual training lasts about one hour. Extended discussion with time for questions and answers will follow the presentation.

Pre-registration is required. A link to register and more information may be found online at loudoun.gov/childhoodadversitytraining.
