[ARCHIVED] Loudoun County Cancels January 21 COVID-19 Testing Event

Due to a forecast of inclement weather and out of an abundance of caution, Loudoun County is canceling the COVID-19 testing event scheduled for Friday, January 21, 2022, at Philip A. Bolen Memorial Park.

The National Weather Service says “dangerously low wind chills that may lead to frostbite or hypothermia when outside for extended periods of time” are expected Friday as an arctic cold front moves through the area.

Loudoun County regrets any inconvenience the cancellation of the outdoor testing event may cause.

COVID-19 Testing Events Next Week

Loudoun County’s next free, drive-thru COVID-19 testing events are scheduled for Tuesday, January 25 and Friday, January 28, 2022, at a site yet to be determined. The location will be posted at loudoun.gov/COVID19testing and announced through the county’s communication channels.

Other Testing Options

The Virginia Department of Health has established regional community testing centers in Fairfax and Prince William Counties. Both centers operate by appointment only.

Visit the Virginia Department of Health's website to find other COVID-19 testing locations in the region. Enter your locality in the search field to find locations near you.

Order Free COVID-19 Tests Online

Every household on the United States is eligible to order four, free at-home COVID-19 tests through a federal government website: covidtests.gov. The tests are scheduled to start shipping in late January.
