Ready, set, action! The sixth annual Cabin Fever Film Festival will premiere a slate of 20 films next weekend highlighting local tales and talent emphasizing films made in Purcellville or by residents in Loudoun County, VA.
The Cabin Fever Film Festival features live-action shorts, stop-motion films, and documentaries. It will be held at the Franklin Park Performing and Visual Arts Center on Friday, January 27, from 7 p.m. to 9 p.m. On Saturday, January 28 from 10 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. Tickets are $5 per person/each day either in-person or live-streamed, and are on sale now at https://bit.ly/CFF23Tickets. The Franklin Park Performing and Visual Arts Center is located at 36441 Blueridge View Lane in Purcellville, VA.
The film festival will conclude with an awards ceremony for Best Student film and Audience Favorite. Voting will be in-person and virtually, using a QR code that will appear on the screen for voting.
Now in its sixth year, the two-day film festival gives a voice to emerging and new filmmakers and is co-hosted by the Franklin Park Performing and Visual Arts Center as part of Loudoun County Parks, Recreation and Community Services, and the Town of Purcellville Arts Council. This year there are fourteen budding filmmakers who submitted a total of 20 films. They range in age from 10 years old to over 70 years old.
