MS Excel AdvancedThursday, September 24, 2020 & Friday, September 25, 2020 Both Days 9:00 a.m. - 12:00 p.m.This two (2) half-day, advanced level workshop serves as a continuation of more complex Excel topics. Workshop pre-requisite: completion of Loudoun Workforce Resource Center MS Excel Basics workshop within the past 6 months or successful completion of MS Excel skills assessment with a passing score of 70%. Your Transferable SkillsTuesday, September 29, 2020, 10:00 a.m. - 11:00 a.m. Skills are acquired in a variety of settings in work and life. Transferable skills are skills that can be used in every occupation, regardless of the type of work. Knowing your transferable skills can help you in choosing a career or making a career change. Identifying your transferable skills will give you a better sense of the strengths you can offer employers. In this workshop, you'll have the opportunity to identify your transferable skills and reflect on how you can best apply them to your next position.

Limited self-directed job search services are offered by appointment only. Customers are encouraged to continue using our virtual services whenever possible.
Customers must wear face coverings while in the building (to include the Loudoun Workforce Resource Center) pursuant to Governor Northam’s Executive Order 63. If you do not have a mask, one will be provided to you. In-person Services Available
Access to computer stations for self-directed job search, resume writing software, and pre-employment testing. Use of office equipment for employment purposes; i.e. printer, copier, fax machine, etc. Meeting room reservation to participate in a virtual job interview. Workforce Innovation & Opportunity Act (WIOA) eligibility determination/enrollment.
