COVID-19 Job Loss Leads to New Opportunity
“Working with the Workforce Resource Center has led me to a truly life changing experience, one that has allowed me to work in an environment where I can serve my community. I had recently lost my job, as a result of the COVID-19 pandemic, and was very much in a vulnerable position. From sitting down and having my first conversation about my job search with Pam Elliott, I knew I was in good hands. She sent me home with some phone numbers and job listings and I felt leaving very much supported. Pam then directed me to Stephanie Wolo, their Employment Coach. The transition was seamless to say the least. Stephanie’s ability to coach and facilitate goes beyond anything I have ever seen. From resume styles to cover letter tips and practice interviews; she was always eager and ready to lend a hand. I am so very grateful to both Stephanie and Pam for their tireless efforts throughout my five-month journey with the WRC.”
