2. Baby Hope (2003 Deceased Newborn)

   On August 30, 2003, deputies responded to the 200-block of North Cottage Road in Sterling for a found baby. Juvenile residents had located the deceased infant near the creek bed behind the Sugarland Run Community Center. The child was found wrapped in a towel in the creek. Sheriff’s deputies identified the infant as a newborn, white female.
