The intent of this Request for Proposal (RFP) is for the County of Loudoun, Virginia (County) to obtain professional psychiatric coverage and services for youth and/or adults enrolled in services with the Loudoun County Department of Mental Health, Substance Abuse and Developmental Services (MHSADS). Professional services shall be performed on-site at the Loudoun County Office Centers located in Leesburg and Sterling, Virginia. Services are provided during regular clinic hours between 8:30 a.m. and 8:00 p.m. and may include after-hours emergency consultation and/or on-call hours.
The County reserves the right to award Contracts to multiple psychiatrists, for negotiated, scheduled hours per week, with an additional thirty (30) annual hours of emergency consultation for each psychiatrist.
This is an ongoing RFP. Proposals may be submitted at any time throughout the contract period as stated in Section 6.2. The County will review proposals as they are submitted. Contracts will be awarded when there is a need for services. The County does not guarantee any minimum or maximum number of hours under a resulting Contract.
*Proposals must be received by the County prior to May 8, 2018 in order to be considered for the award of the contract by July 1, 2018.
NOTE: The County will not consider proposals offering locum tenens services.
