    Come to LCAS for fun stories and facts about owls followed by an exciting owl craft and visit with the shelter's animals! Join us as we learn about animals in this fun new kids series. Each month we will learn about animals while doing a fun craft. All workshops include a tour and the chance to meet shelter animals! Check out the signup link for each month's theme and craft! Kids of all ages are welcome, recommend age range is 5-12 years old. All children under 16 must be accompanied by a parent or guardian.     Two actors bring this original story of historical fiction alive on stage. The play imagines an enterprising black television reporter who is granted a rare sit-down interview with the civil rights leader on the day King is scheduled to make an appearance in Memphis. This ambitious black veteran reporter, Preston Spencer, plans to delve into difficult topics others have left untouched out of respect for his humanitarian work. The desperation of one man collides with the integrity of the other. Witness the Last Days of Dr. Martin Luther King. Jr. performed by Alan Bomar Jones and Bryant Bentley. Sponsored by the Friends of Franklin Park Arts Center as part of their GOLD STAR series.
