The Commissioner of Accounts holds monthly public outreach meetings in order for fiduciaries to ask questions or seek guidance regarding fiduciary responsibilities and estate administration in general. At each meeting, there will be a brief presentation and an opportunity for questions, thereafter. You are encouraged to attend if you need any assistance.

Lighted Nights at Claude Moore Park - Canceled due to icy conditions

Holiday light displays will be available for viewing during a special ex-tended opening of Claude Moore Park. Stop by on a Friday or Saturday for a leisurely night stroll (self-guided) down Vestals Gap Rd and into the historic district to enjoy the festive decorations. Park closes promptly at 7pm.

Outdoor Winter Lights Walk

Step into a winter wonderland at Franklin Park Arts Center’s gallery exhibit of Stars, Night and Winter Sky and enjoy the exhibit while sipping a warm beverage. Continue to the back lawn of the Arts Center and wander among beautifully dis-played lighted sculptures created by local artists. We have added special nights for families, Girl Scouts and Senior Citizens with a winter lights craft to take home.

MS Word - The Basics Workshop - Day 1

This two (2) half day, basic-level workshop serves as an introduction to MS Word for those who have little to no experience using the software. Topics covered include: Opening MS Word on a PC, Saving Documents, Navigating the Toolbars and tabs, Formatting a Document, Inserting and Adding Objects, Creating a Table and Printing Documents. Pre-requisites: You must have some ability to type and use a mouse.

MS Excel - The Basics Workshop - Day 1

This two (2) day, basic level workshop serves as an introduction for those who have little to no experience using the software. Topics covered include An Overview of the Excel Functions, Opening, Creating, Formatting, Saving, and Editing Workbooks, Moving & Copying Cells, and Positioning Cell Data. Pre-requisites: You must have some ability to type and use a mouse.
