Crosstrail Boulevard - Sycolin Road to the Dulles Greenway

Overview

Crosstrail Boulevard from Sycolin Road to the Dulles Greenway (Segment C) project provides for the design, right of way acquisition, utility relocation and the construction of a four-lane median-divided road between Sycolin Road and the Dulles Greenway Interchange. The length of this project is approximately 2,700 linear feet and it includes four-span bridge over the south tributary to Sycolin Creek.

Funding for this project is from the Northern Virginia Transportation Authority (NVTA) and local funds.

Current Status: April 2022

  • Loudoun County hosted a public comment period on theroposed changes to Limited Access Control on Route 267 Dulles Greenway that will result from the extension of Crosstrail Boulevard from Sycolin Road to the Dulles Greenway from March 17 - 30, 2022.   • The design team is currently working with VDOT on submittal requirements for a limited access control change.
  • In the next several weeks, work will begin on 60% design plans.
