1. How do I register my firm?: If you’re ready to register your firm, simply fill out a Registration Application (PDF). Your completed form can be emailed or dropped off at the civil division counter.

2. How do I maintain my firm's account?: Your firm has administrators for their VJEFS accounts. As administrators, these users are able to update your firm's address, name, phone, etc. These users are also able to add/edit/remove users as needed. Additionally, they can reset passwords and unlock accounts for their users. For specific steps please refer to Chapter 5 of the User's Guide provided by the Supreme Court of Virginia. Further questions can be directed to the Clerk of the Circuit Court.

3. How do I login to VJEFS: Users who are part of a registered firm can use the VJEFS Login Page to access the system. The username for attorneys is their bar number. If your account is locked or you need your password reset please see your firm's VJEFS administrator. Chapter 5 of the User's Guide provided by the Supreme Court of Virginia provides instructions on how to unlock or reset your account. Further questions can be directed to the Clerk of the Circuit Court.

4. I get an error when trying to add an attorney to my firm's account: This typically occurs when the attorney was previously added to another firm's account. In this case, the previous firm should be contacted and their administrator should remove the attorney from the firm's account. Then you should be able to add the attorney as normal.
