Employment & Training Assistance

The WIOA Program can assist eligible adults with employment and training services.

What is WIOA? WIOA is landmark legislation administered by the Department of Labor that is designed to strengthen and improve our nation’s public workforce system. It is designed to help get Americans, including youth and those with significant barriers to employment, into high-quality jobs and careers and help employers hire and retain skilled workers.

Questions to Ask Yourself

  • Are you an individual with a low-income or receiving public assistance and been struggling to find employment?
  • Do you need to upgrade your skills to gain sufficient employment?
  • Do you want to increase your income?
  • Have you been struggling to find employment?
  • Were you laid off from your last job?

How to get started

To learn more about the program and to find out if it is right for you, follow these easy steps:

  1. Visit
  2. View the WIOA orientation video
  3. Download and complete the WIOA Eligibility Application Packet found under TO ENROLL and gather the required eligibility documentation listed on pages 1 & 2 of the packet.
