News and Announcements

The Loudoun County Board of Supervisors adopted a proclamation recognizing July 26, 2023, as Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA) Awareness Day in the county. That date marks the 33rd anniversary of the ADA, which The ADA prohibits discrimination on the basis of disability in employment, state and local government, public accommodations, commercial facilities, transportation, and telecommunications.

Requesting Reasonable Accommodation

Loudoun County Government makes every effort to ensure its programs and services are accessible. Community members can request accommodations or auxiliary services by contacting the department that is providing the program, service or activity. If you are unsure of what agency, office or department is sponsoring the activity of interest, contact the county’s Accessibility Services Manager at 571-258-3282 (TTY 711) or by email.

The Loudoun County Government Center Board Room is equipped with a hearing loop system, which is compatible with most hearing aids. An FM assistive listening system is also available in the Board Room. These headsets and receivers provide an alternative for people with a hearing loss by amplifying the sound from the microphones in the room.
