Low-Cost Rabies Vaccine and Microchip Clinics

Keep your pets healthy and safe by joining Loudoun County Animal Services (LCAS) at one of our low-cost rabies vaccine and microchip clinics. Dogs and cats as young as 12 weeks may participate in the clinic. Pet owners must bring their cats in carriers. If you do not have a carrier for your cat, please ask check-in staff for one to use. Please do not carry your cat outside of the vehicle. Dogs must remain on a leash of six feet or less. No flexi-leads, please. We recommend bringing any prior vaccination records, but records are not required. Have questions? Email Us!

2024 Rabies & Microchip Clinic Dates

Low-Cost Rabies Vaccination & Microchip Clinic, LCAS

  • Tuesday, April 23, 2024 - 9:00 - 11:00 a.m.

This is a low-cost, rabies vaccination and microchip clinic. No appointments needed. Cats and dogs over 12 weeks of age are welcome to attend. Please bring cats in carriers and dogs on secure collars/harnesses and non-retractable leashes. 

Please stay in your vehicle and follow staff directions for parking. Please limit to no more than 4 pets/family per clinic.

To receive the three-year rabies vaccine, you must bring proof of prior vaccination. Translation services are available on-site.

  • Microchips $15 (free for Loudoun County residents)
  • Rabies vaccine (cat & dog) $10
  • Dog License (required for Loudoun County dog owners) $10/year

2024 Barn & Outdoor Cat Spay/Neuter - Clinic Dates

LCAS, 42225 Adoption Drive, Leesburg, VA 

These low-cost, spay/neuter clinics are open to outdoor, feral and barn cats in Loudoun County. All cats will be spay/neutered, microchipped, ear-tipped, vaccinated, dewormed and receive flea/tick treatment. You must register to attend a clinic. Cats must arrive in a humane trap. Trap rentals are available. Proof of Loudoun residency is required. You must sign up to reserve a surgery spot. 

Pet Food Resources

Pet food support is available through the Pet Pantry Program. The Pet Pantry is a partnership between Loudoun County Animal Services, The Humane Society of Loudoun County and Loudoun Hunger Relief (LHR).

Loudoun residents may also pick up pet food at one of two mobile pantry locations. Dates and locations below. Dates subject to change.

  • The second Monday of the month - Sterling Community Center (120 Enterprise St. Sterling) | 1:00 p.m. - 2:30 p.m. (end time subject to food availability)  - Upcoming Pantry Dates: March 11, 2024, April 8, 2024
  • The third Thursday of the month - Sugarland Elementary School in Sterling | 10:00 a.m. - 12:00 p.m. (end time subject to food availability) Upcoming Pantry Dates: March 21, 2024, April 18, 2024
