Staff are currently processing permit applications that were submitted on or after the following dates. Dates vary by permit category.

- If you have questions regarding what is required to submit a permit application, please call 703-777-0220. All other inquiries should be submitted via a Loudoun Express Request (LEx).

Residential
- Residential Building: April 12
- Includes: New Construction, Accessory Dwelling - New Construction, New Construction from Masterfile, Masterfile & Revision, Accessory Dwelling - Alteration or Change of Use.
- Residential Alterations: April 1
- Includes: Alteration, Addition, Pool, Miscellaneous Structures, Repair, Replacement
- Residential Trades: April 22
- County Typical Decks: April 9
- County Typical Basements: March 27
Commercial
- Commercial Trades: April 1
