In November, J2 Engineers, Inc. delivered a draft concept design for the Route 15 North Widening: Battlefield Parkway to Montresor Road project with initial alignment alternatives to the Department of Transportation and Capital Infrastructure for evaluation. The concept design is an early step in the roadway design process initiated earlier this year. Both the design process and traffic analysis activities are ongoing and will continue into 2020.
In early 2020, environmental investigation is expected to finish and a public meeting to review the concept design and design alternatives will be scheduled.
This project includes the design, land acquisition and construction to widen Route 15 from two to four lanes between Battlefield Parkway and Montresor Road. View the Route 15 North Widening: Battlefield Pkwy. to Montresor Rd. project page for more information.
