Guinea Pignic and Bunny Hop!

Join us for a Guinea Pig-nic and Bunny Hop! We will be celebrating all things small animals with fun activities, and more! Free nail trims for your guinea pigs and rabbits, a small animal photo booth, rabbit obstacle course, costume and carrot eating contest and learning sessions too! Please bring your small animals in a carrier!


General Activities 1:00-3:00pm (Throughout the Shelter)

  • Kids activities and crafts
  • Nail trims for rabbits and guinea pigs Rabbit obstacle course
  • Small animal photo booth

Learning Sessions and Contests (Community Room)

  • 1:30pm: Medical 101- Join our medical team as we learn about small animals!We will cover common issues, health concerns and things you need to know.
  • 2:00pm: Costume Contest and Carrot Eating Contest- See which furry friend can eat a carrot the fastest, followed by awards for best costume!
  • 2:30pm: Clicker Training for Small Animals- Agility for guinea pigs? Target training your rabbit? You can do it! Come learn how!
