Loudoun County 4-H is partnering with Damewood Auctions to conduct the 2020 youth livestock auction, which this year will happen virtually, Friday, July 24, 2020, beginning at 6:30 p.m.
This auction will be conducted as a live-cry auction, but all the bidding will occur through the Damewood Auctioneers bidding application on your computer, tablet or smart phone. The catalog will be posted one week prior to the auction with photos of the livestock projects and videos of the 4-H participants showing their animals.
You can watch the live broadcast and support youth agriculture in Loudoun County, Friday, July 24, 2020 at 6:30 p.m.
Anyone who lacks an internet connection may call in an "absentee" bid.
Please note that due to the nature of the bidding platform, which is designed for real estate, equipment, and antique auctions, animals will be sold by the head for a flat price, not a price per pound.
