[ARCHIVED] Art Advisory Committee Hosts Fiesta de Colores Reception

The Loudoun County Art Advisory Committee will hold a reception for the Fiesta de Colores art exhibit on Monday, October 2, 2023, 6:00 p.m. to 7:30 p.m. The free reception will be held in Gallery One, which is located in the lobby of the Loudoun County Government Center, 1 Harrison Street, SE, in Leesburg. 

The exhibit is the committee’s first art exhibition celebrating Hispanic Heritage Month. The Fiesta de Colores exhibit features colorful and imaginative works that celebrate the vibrancy of Latin and Hispanic culture. Reception attendees will have an opportunity to meet the featured artistsLeonor Alvim Brazão, Maria A. Brito, Rafael Franco Dolande, Lizzy Javier, Erika Klein, Sabina Puppo, and Patricia Taylor Holz. 

The artworks are available for public viewing now through Friday, November 3, 2023, during regular business hours (Monday – Friday, 8:30 a.m. – 5:00 p.m.)    

Gallery One exhibits are coordinated by the Loudoun County Art Advisory Committee, which is appointed by the Loudoun County Board of Supervisors. The committee is responsible for exhibiting work by Loudoun artists and maintaining and exhibiting the county's permanent art collection. For more information about the committee, visit loudoun.gov/advisory-art.
