[ARCHIVED] Loudoun PRCS Presents ‘Music for Dessert’ at Franklin Park Performing and Visual Arts Center

The Franklin Park Performing and Visual Arts Center will present an eight-week music series in January and February to introduce musical performers to Loudoun County audiences.  

The music series, “Music for Dessert,” will feature regional talent and a variety of music genres with live music for both in-person and virtual audiences. The schedule of performances includes jazz, bluegrass, singer-songwriters, Italian classical, Brazilian guitar and indie/jazz fusion. Concerts will be held at 7:00 p.m. every Wednesday beginning January 10, 2024, through February 28, 2024. 

Single tickets are available for $15/per person or purchase a $75 pass to attend all eight performances. For more information and to purchase tickets, visit franklinparkartscenter.org

  • January 10, 2024, The Rigatoni Quartet: Italian folk/classical
  • January 17, 2024, Josh Tigges: folk/pop on piano & guitar
  • January 24, 2024, Kati Sol Trio
  • January 31, 2024, Insert Title Policy: indie/jazz fusion
  • February 7, 2024, Peter Griggs: Brazilian music for guitar/contemporary guitar
  • February 14, 2024, Pictrola; bluegrass band
  • February 21, 2024, Damon Buxton: American acoustic guitar
  • February 28, 2024, Robbie Limon: “Singers and Songwriters”

About the Franklin Park Performing and Visual Arts Center

The Franklin Park Performing and Visual Arts Center is a Loudoun County Parks, Recreation and Community Services facility and is recognized as one of Loudoun’s premier performing arts spaces and a champion for visual artists and arts groups alike.

The center features an art gallery, and a 260-seat theater with stadium-style seating and state-of-the-art audio, visual and live-streaming capabilities. The art gallery, located in the lobby, features monthly themed exhibits highlighting local artists in all mediums. The theater is an intimate space that works equally well for live music, theater, dance and comedy shows.
