Due to an extended power outage in the Dulles South area, the Dulles South Recreation and Community Center (DSRCC) will be closed on Sunday, May 5, 2024. All remaining scheduled classes are canceled today.
The DSRCC gymnasium and fitness area are anticipated to reopen at 5:00 a.m. on Monday, May 6, 2024. All programs, including preschool and childcare, are expected to be held as scheduled. The competition pool, spa and leisure pool will remain closed Monday morning as additional time for recirculation and water testing is necessary once the power has been restored. During today’s closure, patrons of the facility are encouraged to visit the Claude Moore Recreation and Community Center to enjoy the facility’s recreational amenities, including the 25-yard by 50-meter competition pool and the leisure pool featuring a giant water slide, children's play area, hot tub, vortex, lazy river, and free swim and play area. Claude Moore Recreation and Community Center is located at 46105 Loudoun Park Lane in Sterling. Other indoor swimming opportunities for patrons include the Round Hill Indoor Aquatic Center located at 17010 Evening Star Drive, Round Hill.
