Claude Moore Recreation and Community Center to Temporarily Close for Annual Maintenance

The Loudoun County Department of Parks, Recreation and Community Services announces Claude Moore Recreation and Community Center will temporarily close Tuesday, May 28, through Sunday, June 9, 2024, for the annual maintenance of the facility. 

CASA Academy and preschool at the Claude Moore Recreation and Community Center will not be impacted by the closure.

Early voting on June 8, 2024, will be held as scheduled from 9:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. at the Claude Moore Recreation and Community Center. Voters will enter the facility through the main entrance. Early voting will continue the following Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday and Saturday. Early voting ends Saturday, June 15. Exact dates, times and locations are posted at loudoun.gov/VoteEarly

The Claude Moore Recreation and Community Center will resume its normal operating hours on Monday, June 10.

During the annual maintenance, patrons of the facility are encouraged to visit the Dulles South Recreation and Community Center to enjoy the facility’s recreational amenities, including the 25-yard by 50-meter competition pool and the leisure pool featuring a 125-foot water slide, children's play area, hot tub, vortex, lazy river, and free swim and play area. The Dulles South Recreation and Community Center is located at 24950 Riding Center Drive in South Riding. Other indoor swimming opportunities for patrons include the Round Hill Indoor Aquatic Center located at 17010 Evening Star Drive, Round Hill.
