The Loudoun County Department of Parks, Recreation and Community Services received a donation of $14,123 from the Loudoun Horse Association for future equestrian amenities at Lovettsville Community Park. Amenities within the proposed park project include trails and an equestrian area. Bonds for the financed portion of the project were approved in November 2004.
