Supervised Living Services

Overview

The Department of Mental Health, Substance Abuse and Developmental Services  Supervised Living program provides treatment, training, and support to individuals who have a serious mental illness.

The goal of this service is to support individuals in developing the skills necessary to live independently. An individual receives supervision based on need. The Supported Living staff provides training experiences and opportunities to enhance the individual's community connections.

Skills Training

Skills training includes:

  • Daily living activities
  • Decision making skills
  • Interpersonal skills
  • Problem solving skills
  • Self-care
