Early Voting in Loudoun for March 2024 Presidential Primary begins January 19

Loudoun County election officials remind voters that early voting for the March 5, 2024, presidential primary election begins Friday, January 19, 2024. Both the Democratic and Republican parties are participating in the primary election. All registered voters are eligible to vote as Virginia does not register voters by party affiliation. At the polls, voters will indicate which ballot they would like to receive.

Early voting begins Friday, January 19, at the Office of Elections and Voter Registration, 750 Miller Drive, Suite 150, in Leesburg. Early voting hours are Monday through Friday, 8:30 a.m. - 5:00 p.m. (Note: The office will be closed Monday, February 19, 2024.) 

Expanded Early Voting Hours at Satellite Locations

Additional early voting sites at Carver Senior Center in Purcellville, Claude Moore Recreation Center in Sterling and Dulles South Recreation Center in South Riding will be in operation beginning Saturday, February 24. The Loudoun County Electoral Board approved expanded early voting hours at its meeting January 17, 2024. The early voting hours at the satellite locations have been expanded to include weekdays, Monday, February 26 through Friday, March 1. Early voting ends Saturday, March 2. Exact dates, times and locations are posted at loudoun.gov/VoteEarly.

Voter Registration Deadline

The deadline to register to vote in the March 5 election or to update current voter registration information is Monday, February 12, 2024. Voters may register after February 12, 2024, and vote a provisional ballot. Information about Same-Day Voter Registration is available from the Virginia Department of Elections.
