[ARCHIVED] Loudoun Health Director to Answer Questions about COVID-19 Vaccine on Facebook February 24

Link to Facebook Event

Loudoun County will host a live question-and-answer session about the county’s COVID-19 vaccination efforts with Loudoun County Health Department Director Dr. David Goodfriend through Facebook Live Wednesday, February 24, 2021, 6:00 to 7:00 p.m.

How to Participate

The question-and-answer session will be streamed live on the Loudoun County Government page on Facebook beginning at 6:00 p.m. on Wednesday. Questions may be submitted in advance now through the scheduled event on Facebook or live during the event by commenting on the Facebook Live broadcast. Anyone will be able to view the question-and-answer session at the time of the event; a Facebook account is not required. Video of the conversation will be posted on the county’s Facebook page following the event.

Background

The demand for vaccine across the region continues to be far greater than the available vaccine supply. The Loudoun Health Department continues to schedule vaccination appointments and to vaccinate more than one thousand people daily for those who are in Phase 1a and Phase 1b of Virginia’s vaccination priority groups. In addition, Loudoun County recently transitioned to a statewide pre-registration system. Many residents have questions about the county’s ongoing vaccination efforts. Dr. Goodfriend will address as many questions about the county’s vaccination efforts as possible.

More information about the county’s COVID-19 vaccination efforts may be found at loudoun.gov/covid19vaccine.
