Transit & Commuter Services Strategic Plans

The Virginia Department of Rail and Public Transportation (DRPT) requires public transit operators and commuter assistance providers receiving state funding, which includes Loudoun County, to prepare, adopt, and submit a Transit Development Plan and Commuter Assistance Program plan. These plans provide the foundation for DRPT funding requests and feed directly into their programming process, including the Statewide Transit Six-Year Plan. More information about grant programs and requirements is provided at drpt.virginia.gov.
