The deadline to submit nominations for Loudoun County’s inaugural Environmental Excellence Awards is Tuesday, February 28, 2023.
The Loudoun County Environmental Commission is seeking nominations to honor individuals, businesses, nonprofit organizations and educators for their leadership on environmental issues. Each year, the awards will encourage a particular environmental theme; projects that promote that theme will be awarded bonus points. For 2023, the theme focuses on projects that specifically impact litter prevention, education or cleanup. Nominations for projects that focus on other areas of the environment are also welcome.
