Congregate Meals

About

The Congregate Meal Program provides weekday hot lunches at all Loudoun County Senior Centers (Ashburn, Leesburg, Purcellville, South Riding and Sterling) to adults 60 and over. The program serves nutritious meals in a group setting to sustain and improve the health of older adults, and reduce isolation by promoting socialization.

  • Café lunch is served between noon and 12:30 pm on weekdays at each senior center.
  • Senior Café Menu
  • Adults 60+ - a donation is requested, and suggested amounts are posted outside the café. Donations help sustain the meal program.
  • Adults 55-59 years old - $4 per lunch.
  • To reserve your meal, sign-up in person or call the café supervisor by noon the day before you plan to have lunch at the senior center.
  • Transportation to senior centers is available but may be limited

Volunteers

Deliver a few smiles within a few miles!

Volunteer opportunities for the Home-Delivered Meals Program are available at numerous locations throughout the county. Meals are prepared, packaged, and delivered to local communities and county sites for distribution by volunteers. Delivery times vary depending on the location of the site. Individuals may volunteer for as little as one hour per month, week, or day. A Home-Delivered Meals volunteer provides more than a daily meal to older residents, they provide the gift of friendship.
