About the Team
The Crisis Negotiations Team is composed of 12 personnel from various divisions of the Department. The members perform their duties on a part-time volunteer basis.
This team is responsible for conducting negotiations with perpetrators of incidents involving hostages, barricaded persons or situations where negotiations could prevent serious injury or the loss of life.
