PRCS CARES - Childcare Assistance & Resources for Enrichment Support
We are pleased to offer the PRCS CARES Program by providing discounted fees for eligible participants.
Discounted Fee Programs
You may apply for discounted fees (per week or per month) based on the program and space availability in our Children's Programs including:
- Preschool and Childcare at Community and Recreation Centers
- After-School CASA at various LCPS elementary schools
- After-School CASA Academy at Community & Recreation Centers
- Licensed Summer Camps to Include Adaptive Recreation Summer Camp

Registration is open and available for:
- 2024 Licensed Summer Camps to include Adaptive Recreation Summer Camp
- September 2024 - May 2025 Preschool
Early Registration September 2024 – June 2025 CASA and YAS for Returning Families and New CARES Program Customers begins Tuesday, April 30, 2024, at 8:30 a.m.

| Option 2: Apply based on household size and total annual household income | Submit two payslips or other income documents dated within the last 60 days for each employed household member. | Discount of 75%, 50% or 25% to be determined for Oct 2023 through Sept 2024 fees. | Option 3: Apply for short term assistance due to temporary financial hardship. | Submit Option 1 or Option 2 documents with your temporary financial hardship request statement and upload any optional supporting documentation. | Discount and terms to be determined. Allow 5 to 10 business days for review |

Once your application is received, reviewed, and approved, we will adjust your account with the approved discount and email a confirming receipt. Please allow a minimum of one to two business days for processing most applications.
