Loudoun County is now accepting applications from nonprofit organizations for the American Rescue Plan Act (ARPA) Child Care Fee Reduction Grant Program.
The program is designed to help create a child care supplementary reimbursement program to support families who are experiencing hardship as an ongoing result of the COVID-19 pandemic. It is anticipated that one nonprofit organization will receive funding and will use the funds to support Loudoun residents who do not qualify for a child care subsidy through Virginia’s Department of Education programming, and whose income is at or below 80 percent of Loudoun County’s Area Median Income (AMI).
To assist nonprofit organizations with understanding the application process, Loudoun County’s Department of Finance and Procurement will host an informational webinar Tuesday, October 10, 2023, 10:00 – 11:30 a.m. Details on how to join the webinar are online at loudoun.gov/grantopportunities.
Applications are due by 4:00 p.m., Thursday, November 9, 2023.
