Criminal History Dates Back to 2007
LEESBURG, Virginia – June 24, 2019. A thirty-one year old man appeared before the Loudoun County Circuit Court for sentencing on one count of distribution of a schedule I or II controlled substance, second violation. The Honorable Judge Burke F. McCahill sentenced Gregory Allyn Meade to six years in the Virginia Department of Corrections.
In May 2018, Meade met with an undercover officer in Loudoun County and sold the officer approximately two grams of Ecstasy (MDMA) for $180.
Meade’s prior criminal history dates back to 2007 and includes prior convictions for distribution of a controlled substance, distribution of an imitation controlled substance, credit card fraud, credit card theft, possession of marijuana, possession of drug paraphernalia, numerous probation violations, and assorted traffic offenses.
Judge McCahill also imposed an additional six years of suspended penitentiary time, and Meade will be placed on supervised probation for six years upon his release from prison.
“This sentence sends a clear message that dealing drugs in our community simply will not be tolerated,” said Chief Deputy Commonwealth’s Attorney Nicole Wittmann.
