As part of Loudoun County’s new courthouse construction project, Verizon will be performing utility work along Church Street NE in Leesburg beginning Sunday, July 9, through Friday, July 14, 2023, weather permitting. Crews will remove overhead lines on Church Street NE between the Market Street and Cornwall Street intersections from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. on Sunday, and 7 a.m. to 6 p.m. on weekdays until the work is complete. Traffic delays are possible due to intermittent lane closures. Drivers are advised to use extra caution when traveling through this area and follow all directions from the posted signs and road crews.
