On July 28, 2023, construction to stabilize the historic Waterford Mill in the Village of Waterford reached substantial completion. Over the course of the last nine months, crews completed stabilization work, such as the reconstruction of the historic Hurst frame, window and flooring repairs, structural improvements, painting, interior and exterior masonry work, and excavation and repairs to the water wheel pit.
Over the next few weeks, punch work will be completed, and the mill will be turned back over to the Waterford Foundation for programming. This is the last update for the Waterford Mill Stabilization Project.
