We wanted to share some exciting news from the Linear Parks and Trails (LPAT) Program!
- The Evergreen Mills Equestrian and Hiking Trail located at 21332 Marcum Farm Court, Leesburg, has officially reopened. The trail consists of a four-mile (eight miles in-and-out) multiuse trail for horses, hikers/walkers, and mountain bikers. The trailhead includes available parking for horse trailers.
- Earlier this year a team of volunteers along with PRCS staff from the Linear Parks and Trails (LPAT) program helped clear the trail.

About LPAT: Loudoun County is developing an interconnected, countywide linear parks and trails system. The comprehensive system will provide a variety of functions and benefits, including recreation, alternative transportation, wildlife habitat, water quality protection, flood hazard reduction, aquifer recharge, erosion prevention, property value enhancement, economic development, and scenic beauty.
