Dulles South Community Park Design Team Selects Concept Plan

Posted on January 25, 2024 at 1:51 PM by Heidi Kellum

Using public feedback gathered during the public information meeting and comment period in October and November 2023, the design team for the Dulles South Community Park project recently completed a preliminary layout of the future park to be constructed near Lightridge High School in Aldie. This Dulles South Park Concept Plan (PDF) will be used in upcoming public hearings for review of the Special Exception (SPEX). The team has also prepared a Frequently Asked Questions (FAQ) to help answer common questions about the planned facility. Both the concept plan and FAQ are available for review on the project page at loudoun.gov/DullesSouthPark.

In addition to sending comments by email to the Department of Transportation and Capital Infrastructure (DTCI), members of the public will have the opportunity to provide input at these upcoming meetings:

  • Planning Commission Public Hearing for review of the Special Exception (SPEX).
  • Board of Supervisors Public Hearing for review of the Special Exception (SPEX).

An update will be provided in advance of the Planning Commission Public Hearing when the meeting is scheduled.

About the Project
