Loudoun County Update

• Job Search Materials Available from the Loudoun Workforce Resource Center: The Loudoun Workforce Resource Center (WRC) is now taking requests for job search materials. To request your custom bag of resources, such as job search tips, how to prepare for a job interview, surviving a layoff, and more, complete this online Resources To-Go Request form and the WRC will prepare a resource to-go bag for you. Your resources will be ready on the day you selected for pick-up from 2:30-4:30 p.m. Find your bag outside the WRC doorway located at 102 Heritage Way, First Floor, Rear Entrance, Leesburg, 20176. 
• LCPS Return to School Virtual Town Hall on July 8: Loudoun County Public Schools will host a virtual town hall meeting tomorrow evening, Wednesday, July 8, at 5:30 p.m. to help families learn more about their schooling options for the 2020-2021 school year. 
  • The meeting will be conducted using the Webex Event platform. It also will be live-streamed online and telecast on Comcast Channel 18 and Verizon FIOS Channel 43. The event will be recorded for parents and guardians who may not be able to watch it live.  
  • Questions will be accepted in advance of the event. Please use this form to submit a question. Due to the number of questions expected, not all questions will be answered during the session. 
  • After the event, responses to the most frequently asked questions will be posted online at the lcps.org/ReturnToSchool2020 website.
• COVID-19 Resources Available from the Virginia Department of Health: The Virginia Department of Health (VDH) continues to add and update COVID-19 resources to their website, including resources in multiple languages. Recent additions include:

  • Living with Someone with COVID-19 English | Spanish | Arabic | Korean | Simplified Chinese
