Earlier this week,
the Virginia Department of Health (VDH) launched the statewide system for vaccine pre-registration, which includes a ‘Check the List’ feature, where individuals can search by their email address and phone number to confirm whether they are registered.
Many individuals who submitted a Loudoun County pre-screening survey prior to 5:00 p.m. on February 12 are unable to find themselves in the ‘Check the List’ function. Please rest assured that we have all registrations submitted on February 12 or earlier on our waitlist.
Virginia Department of Health officials have indicated that the system continues to be improved and that data migration continues.
Issues identified earlier in the week, such as case sensitivity on email addresses, have been resolved but data cleanup and migration are continuing. State officials have acknowledged that some individuals may still be unable to find themselves in the centralized system. Even if you cannot find yourself in the statewide registration system, everyone who has previously submitted a pre-screening survey to Loudoun County is still on our waitlist, and your place on the waitlist will not be affected by the glitches in the new system that are currently being resolved. Anyone who has submitted a pre-screening survey to Loudoun County does not need to submit a new pre-registration in the statewide system.
We ask for your patience as VDH continues to stabilize the data that was imported into the centralized registration system from Loudoun County and from health districts across Virginia, and to get the site working at its full capability.
As a reminder, while pre-registration has transferred to a statewide system, Loudoun County Health Department will continue to be responsible for appointment scheduling – both by email and by phone. We will continue to systematically work through our local waitlist of people who have signed up to receive vaccine before 5:00 p.m. on February 12.
Loudoun County continues to vaccinate people with appointments six days a week. We are contacting individuals in the order pre-screening survey submissions were received for appointments, as vaccine supplies allow, and in accordance with a state-mandated allocation formula between priority groups.

Scheduled Appointments and Second Doses
The change to the statewide system
will not impact individuals who have already scheduled an appointment or who are waiting to receive a second dose.
- If you have already scheduled an appointment or are waiting to receive a second dose, you do not need to look for yourself on the statewide pre-registration list or submit a new pre-registration in the statewide system.
