Project Status: February 24, 2021
- As part of the Federal Emergency Management Agency's Letter of Map Amendment (LOMA) process for Selma Estates, the county submitted data provided by the county’s consultant, Wood PLC (Wood). FEMA issued a LOMA on February 2, 2021. The county is currently reviewing the LOMA and has found that FEMA’s analysis does not appear to have incorporated the Wood data. This produced unexpected results. The county has once again contracted with Wood to work with FEMA to ensure that the best available data is used in FEMA’s LOMA determination. The county considers this issue to be unresolved, ongoing and evolving. Homeowners will be notified when there are updates.
