Posted on April 5, 2021 at 9:06 AM by Heidi Kellum

Design work continues for the new Lovettsville Fire and Rescue Station to be constructed in Lovettsville, Virginia as a replacement for the current station building. The replacement station will be located adjacent to the existing station on Lovettsville Fire Rescue Company property that will be annexed to the Town of Lovettsville.

Over the last several weeks, the project design team reviewed and approved the revised mechanical system design, which is currently 35% complete and the design consultant for the project submitted construction documents to Loudoun County for review and approval. The design phase for this Lovettsville Fire Station project is estimated for completion in winter 2022. Currently, construction is estimated to be completed in summer 2023.

Located on Berlin Turnpike in Lovettsville, VA, the current Lovettsville Fire Station building was erected in 1974 and has had two subsequent additions built. Fire station 12 houses an engine, tanker, basic life support ambulance and brush truck.
