  • Virtual Job and Career Resources Continue During Pandemic: The Loudoun Workforce Resource Center offers a variety of resources and services to support individuals looking for their next job opportunity:
    • Virtual Coffee with a Career Counselor sessions are held twice a month and provide an overview of the current job market, resume tips and Q&A sessions.
    • Virtual resume critiques and employment coaching are available by request. Complete and submit this request form and you will be contacted within 1 business day to arrange a session.
    • Virtual job readiness workshops, LinkedIn profile reviews, and mock interviews are provided via online registration. View the full schedule and register online.
    • Health Care Careers information, including current job opportunities, training resources, and career resources. 
    • Local job opportunity listings are provided each week at loudoun.gov/wrc.

  • Get Out & Get Fit: The Loudoun County Department of Parks, Recreation and Community Services invites you to "get out and get fit!" Outdoor fitness training and group exercise classes are now available at Dulles South and Claude Moore Recreation Centers. Class descriptions and registration can be found at loudoun.gov/webtrac.
  • Virginia Department of Health COVID-19 Dashboard to Include More Detailed Race and Ethnicity Data: The Virginia Department of Health (VDH) will change how race and ethnicity data are presented. This update will provide a more detailed look at the effects of COVID-19 on minority populations across Virginia. "We see, for instance, that COVID-19 is disproportionately affecting Virginia's Latinx population. Although Latinx people make up 10 percent of the state's population, they account for 45 percent of the COVID-19 cases, 35 percent of the hospitalizations and 11 percent of the deaths," said Virginia State Health Commissioner M.
