Loudoun County, VA (October 7, 2022) UPDATE – Stone Colburn was arrested late this evening by the Pooler Police Department in Chatham County, GA. More information on his arrest will be released when available.
The Loudoun County Sheriff’s Office would like to thank the Pooler Police Department for their efforts in apprehending Colburn.

Loudoun County, VA (October 7, 2022) – The Loudoun County Sheriff’s Office is asking for the public’s assistance to help locate 25-year-old Stone L. Colburn.
Stone Colburn was released from the Loudoun County Adult Detention Center yesterday after his original charges for murder were dropped by the Office of the Commonwealth Attorney. This morning, charges were obtained on Colburn for Concealment of a Dead Body.
Colburn is described as a White male, approximately 5’10, 160 lbs., he was last seen wearing a gray and black flannel shirt over a black sweatshirt, maroon knit hat, gray sweatpants, and black shoes.
Anyone with information as to Colburn’s whereabouts is asked to call 9-1-1 immediately.
