Loudoun County, VA- The Loudoun County Sheriff’s Office (LCSO) is working to identify a suspect in a July 6 burglary of an Ashburn home and detectives are seeking potential home security surveillance video in the One Loudoun community.
The suspect entered the home in the 20600 block of Exchange Street shortly after midnight on Saturday after he apparently gained access to a garage door opener from an unlocked vehicle. The suspect then opened the garage to enter the home. Inside the home, the suspect removed jewelry and a firearm. The suspect is then seen on surveillance video leaving the home on a bicycle taken from the home’s garage.
The victims later discovered the burglary after returning home.
The suspect in the case is described as a male, 5’9” to 5’10” tall, and was wearing a white pullover sweatshirt with the hood up, and pants.
Following the burglary, LCSO Deputies and Detectives canvassed the area seeking potential surveillance video. Additionally, Detectives are asking residents who live on or near this location and have external cameras that have stored recordings, to review their video during the time frame of 10 p.m. on July 5 to 4 a.m. on July 6.
