Loudoun County, Virginia (September 19, 2023) – The Loudoun County Sheriff’s Office has arrested a man for committing an armed robbery that occurred at an Ashburn convenience store.
Last evening, at approximately 11:08 p.m., LCSO Deputies responded to the 7-Eleven convenience store located at 21880 Ryan Center Way, Ashburn, for a report of an armed robbery. The preliminary investigation revealed that a male entered the store, displayed a handgun, and took an undisclosed number of items before fleeing the store on foot.
Deputies quickly located the suspect in the parking garage of the Ashburn Metro Station and placed him under arrest.
Deandre G. Tyer, 29, of no fixed address, was charged with Armed Robbery, Use of a Firearm in Commission of a Felony, Carrying a Concealed Weapon, Destroying a Phone Line with Intent to Prevent Call to Law Enforcement, Brandishing a Weapon, and Larceny.
Tyer was transported to the Loudoun County Adult Detention Center where he is being held on no bond.
