Loudoun County, VA (December 13, 2023) – The Loudoun County Sheriff’s Office has charged a Leesburg man after he fled from deputies who attempted to conduct a traffic stop on Friday, December 8, 2023.
At approximately 4:50 p.m., deputies in the Sterling area initiated a traffic stop on a white 2012 Chevrolet Impala based upon suspicion that the driver was intoxicated. When deputies activated their emergency equipment for the traffic stop, the driver fled at a high rate of speed. Deputies initiated a pursuit, during which the driver struck multiple occupied vehicles and recklessly endangered the public.
The driver exited the vehicle in the 700 block of Fieldstone Drive in Leesburg and fled into an apartment. He exited the apartment a short time later and was arrested.
A search warrant for the vehicle and the residence was obtained and deputies located Schedule I and Schedule II narcotics, as well as items indicative of drug distribution. Deputies also located multiple firearms, including one with the serial number removed.
Rodkeem R. Ceasar Green, 23, of Leesburg, was charged with Driving While Intoxicated, two counts of Felony Hit and Run, one count of misdemeanor Hit and Run, Driving Without a License, and Failure to Stop for Law Enforcement.
Ceasar Green was transported to the Loudoun County Adult Detention Center where he is being held without bond. Additional charges related to the narcotics and firearms recovered are pending.
