Loudoun County, VA (January 11, 2024) – Two Loudoun County Sheriff’s Office (LCSO) Deputies were injured after being struck by an oncoming vehicle while responding to an unrelated crash on Watson Road in Leesburg.
Two deputies of the LCSO Motor Unit were driving towards a crash on Watson Road near Manber Lane when they were struck by the vehicle. Both sustained non-life-threatening injuries, one of them serious, and were transported to a local hospital. The driver of the motor vehicle remained on scene, is a juvenile, and was released to parents. This incident remains under investigation.
